‘Shatashrungada Saalinalli’ is a collection of articles written by enthusiastic journalist Anandateertha Pyati. The author who works for Kannada daily Prajavani focuses on positive developments in the farm sector in his write-ups. Simple narration and inspiring examples make the book significant.

Neither did huge projects nor agricultural schemes help Indian farmer to come out of his series of failures. As modern agriculture failed to keep harmony with nature, agriculturists had slowly started loosing hopes about their profession. Still there are examples of experiments in non-chemical farming - organic or natural - which proved to be successful and sustainable. The book puts light on such success stories being practiced in different parts of Karnataka.

Understanding the present situation of farming sector in the state, Pyati has successfully documented several instances where farmers have overcome common hurdles through their innovation, common sense and understanding nature. Most of the achievements here are replicable and are answer to farm crisis.
