Diploma in farm journalism

Caam fellows and diploma candidates interact with
the editors of farm journals and farm supplements.

CAAM has launched a one-year diploma course in farm journalism in November 2003. First batch has completed the course with six successful candidates. They have been considered as CAAM fellows. Foundation course was held for the second batch in December, 2005.

The correspondence diploma, first of its kind in Kannada, has been launched to encourage farmer-friendly farm journalism in Kannada. Topics like nature and importance of farmer-friendly farm journalism, types of farm writing, techniques of writing, photo journalism etc., will be covered during the course. Karnataka Madhyama Academy President Mr. Arjuna Deva formally inaugurated the course.
