We visited Cherkadi two years ago. He is really an excellent example in organic farming. Though we visited him without prior appointment, he conducted us through his farm with great enthusiasm, explaining everything in his simple way, albeit it was a very hot afternoon in summer. One has to visit the place to see the fruits of his labour. Thank you for this and all other bulletins. The one about effects of Endosulfan was heartrending.

I read about your CAAM in India Together. It is wonderful and I wish you every success in empowering farmers through communication. I am orginally from Bangalore and an agricultural scientist working on biotech in US. Please let me know how we expatriate Indian scientists can help in this effort.

Saw the website and convinced about its usefulness. But don't know how for it is going to reach the farmers when net facility is still a question. We would be very happy to associate with farmedia as our interests coincide with the similar kind of exercise.

My name is Jayakumar. I got the mail forwarded to me from our friend Madhu from TOXICLINK New Delhi.

I am glad to offer our help in the matter, we have been collecting information and fighting this issue . We are now planning to move the Kerala High Court as the lower courts have already stopped at Periya and there are many such places and we cannot fight them separately.

I have collected tonns of materials on Endosulfan and we are compiling the salient points as booklet. We can also send the details, and we look forward to your support to stop this. I feel that doctor with the lot of clinical back up will be able to strengthen the health aspects of the case.

I'm the affiliate special projects producer at MediaChannel (www.mediachannel.org).
I would like to invite the Centre for Alternative Agricultural Media to join MediaChannel as an affiliate. Our editorial team has looked at your site and are very impressed by your work. We are working on a communication for development page, and it would be great if www.farmedia.org (CAAM) was an affiliate so we could include you in this new feature.
We would all be thrilled to add CAAM to the affiliates list.

Have received two of your bulletins so far (No. 4 & 6). Please send me the others also.

I work with Greenpeace in India on the Genetic Engineering Campaign and was actually very excited to see a mail about the idea of communicating amongst farmers and then to actually see this bulletin.

The Genetic Engineering issue is hotting up, and farmers really need to be mobilised. As our campaign picks up, we could provide you with information and material on Genetically modified crops and the experiences of farmers internationally, which could be used to create awareness here.
