Mr. Yuba Nath Lamsal, a senior journalist from Nepal, has been working with Nepal’s oldest newspaper ‘The Rising Nepal’ for the last 12 years.Currently, he is deputy executive editor. Besides, he is an editor of www.nepalnews.com, an online news service from Nepal.

A graduate from Tribhuvan University, Mr. Lamsal has obtained one-year training from Nepal Press Institute on practical journalism. As a fellow of Reuters Foundation, he obtained training on editorial management in London. Apart from that, Mr. Lamsal, 39, has attended several national and international seminars, workshops and meetings on journalism. His areas of interest are development, environment and human rights. He has widely traveled.
