Farm and rural journalism course

CAM fellows and course candidates interact with
the editors of farm journals and farm supplements.

CAM has launched a one-year course in farm and rural journalism in November 2003. Eighteen candidates from three batches have successfully completed the course. They have been considered as CAM fellows. Foundation course was held for the third batch in December, 2005.

The correspondence course, first of its kind in Kannada, has been launched to encourage farmer-friendly farm journalism in Kannada. Topics like nature and importance of farmer-friendly farm journalism, types of farm writing, techniques of writing, photo journalism etc., will be covered during the course. Known journalist and then President of Karnataka Madhyama Academy Mr. Arjuna Deva inaugurated the course.
